भारत में अब तक किसानों के लिए उपयोगी कोई ऑडियो बुक नहीं था। इस वेबसाइट में किसानों और कृषि सम्बंधित पेशे से जुड़े व्यापारियों के लिए फायदेमंद जानकारियां ऑडियो बुक के रूप में प्रस्तुत की गई हैं। पर्यावरण संरक्षण को ध्यान में रखते हुए तमाम जानकारियों को किताब की शक्ल देने के बजाय ऑडियो बुक के रूप में पेश करने का फ़ैसला किया गया। देशभर में स्मार्टफोन और वॉट्स ऐप क्रान्ति को देखते हुए इंटरनेट आधारित ऑडियो बुक की पहुंच जन-जन तक पहुंचने की पूरी संभावना है। दरअसल इस ऑडियो बुक में कृषि क्षेत्र में वॉट्स ऐप के उपयोग के बारे में भी बताया गया है। ऑडियो बुक के रूप में ही जानकारियां प्रदान करने का एक और कारण है। अगर कोई पढ़ना-लिखना नहीं जानता, या उसके पास किताबों और विभिन्न वेबसाइट्स में दी गई जानकारियां पढ़ने का समय नहीं, तो वो भी ऑडियो बुक के इस्तेमाल से अपनी जानकारी बढ़ा सकता है, मार्गदर्शन पा सकता है। कोई भी व्यक्ति अपना काम करते हुए कानों में ईयरफोन या हेडफोन लगाकर ऑडियो बुक सुन सकता है। फिलहाल वेबसाइट में एक ऑडियो बुक अपलोड किया जा रहा है। इसके पहले भाग में किसानों का हौसला बढ़ाने के लिए सफलता की 121 सच्ची कहानियां सुनाई गई हैं। ये कहानियां देशभर से इकट्ठा की गई हैं। ऑडियो बुक का दूसरा हिस्सा किसानों को वास्तविक लाभ पहुंचाएगा। इसमें किसानों की आमदनी बढ़ाने के लिए उपयोगी 121 नुस्खे बताए गए हैं। इन उपायों में फसलों की उपज बढ़ाने के तरीकों से लेकर सरकारी योजनाओं, उपयोगी वेबसाइट और ऐप, उपज की ख़ास किस्में विकसित करने वाले सफल किसानों और उनके मोबाइल नम्बर, IIT और दूसरे संस्थानों में कृषि सम्बंधित नवीनतम आविष्कार इत्यादि शामिल हैं। आमतौर पर ये जानकारियां किसानों की पहुंच से बाहर रहती हैं। ऑडियो बुक में कृषि क्षेत्र के कारोबारियों और नए कारोबारी बनने की चाहत रखने वालों के लिए भी उपयोगी जानकारियां बताई गई हैं। ऑडियो बुक में FPO की उपयोगिता और ई-नैम के फायदों के बारे में बताया गया है, जो किसानों की आमदनी बढ़ाने के लिए अनिवार्य साधन हैं। ई-नैम से जुड़ी कई मंडियों और वहां मिलने वाली सुविधाओं तथा फायदों के बारे में बताया गया है। पूरे ऑडियो बुक में ख़ासकर ऑर्गेनिक खेती और ड्रिप इरिगेशन जैसी आधुनिक प्रणालियों पर विस्तार से बताया गया है, जो खेती-किसानी में समय की मांग हैं। कृषि सम्बंधित अन्य क्षेत्रों जैसे मत्स्य पालन, दुग्ध उत्पादन, फल और फूल उत्पादन आदि के बारे में भी बताया गया है। खेती की लागत कम करने के लिए समेकित कृषि की उपयोगिता बताई गई है। सबसे बड़ी बात, कि खेती के ज़रिये पर्यावरण संरक्षण और सामाजिक जिम्मेदारियां पूरा करने के उदाहरण और संदेश दिये गए हैं।

In order to solve diverse problems of farmers, an audio book has been produced. The audio book facilitates the farmers in various ways:

The audio book is divided into two parts. The first part deals with 121 success stories of various individual farmers and organizations. These success stories have been collected from across the country. The purpose of this part is to encourage farmers to think that they can also be part of such success stories.
The second part of the audio book provides 121 useful solutions to help farmers in increasing their income. These include methods to increase crop yield, government schemes, useful websites and apps, various government recognized varieties developed by farmers and their mobile numbers, new varieties developed by scientific institutions, latest agricultural inventions in IITs and other institutions etc. The audio book also provides useful information for agricultural traders and an insight to start entrepreneurship in the field of agricultural.
The audio book talks repeatedly about the usefulness of FPOs and the advantages of e-NAM, which are indispensable tools to increase farmers’ income. Facilities in several ‘mandis’ under e-NAM and their benefits are explained. The entire audio book elaborates usefulness of modern methods like organic farming and drip irrigation.
Other related fields such as fisheries, dairy, vegetables-fruits-flowers production and pearls farming apart from methods of low-cost crops yield are part of the audio book. The most important subjects are agriculture related business ideas, which have immense potential to provide source of earning to unemployed.
